 Franklin
County Memorial Hospital is building a $4.1 million improvement
on the south of the hospital. The 14,000 square foot addition will accommodate
the outpatient. A new clinical laboratory, a 4-slice CT Scanner, Specialty
Clinic Examination Rooms, expanded cardiac rehabilitation and cardiac screening. We
are also closing our downtown building and bringing physical
therapy and occupational therapy into the new building, a new
service will be Aqua Therapy as we habe installed a SwimEx pool.
The FCMH Pool Medical Clinic is also expanded with a new
lobby, new south entrance, expanded administrative area and professional
offices as well as a telemedicine room. Psychiatric services will
also be enjoying new office and a space for group therapy. The south
corners of the new building will feature new entrances, lounges and handicapped
accessible accomodations. A new elevator has also been installed that
will minimize physical barriers for patients and visitors.
Completion date has been extended to August 21, 2009. Come
